Verse: “Blessed is the man… whose delight is in the law of the Lord; and in His law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season.”
The First Psalm has always been one of my favorite scriptures, one which readily brings to mind a peaceful scene. My challenge came in the planning stage when I felt the scene was incomplete without including the presence of the primary subject—the Lord Himself. I finally decided to incorporate a hidden image of the Lord’s face in a very subtle way; at the same time I wanted it to be a very integral part of the scene.
As Christians we don’t always see or feel God’s presence in our lives. His Word tells us we are to walk by faith, not by sight, believing His promise that He’ll never leave us or forsake us. Our part is to simply abide in Him.
