Verse: How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of Him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God Reigns!”
Upon the Mountains
This drawing, inspired by Isaiah 52:7, portrays the ultimate fulfillment of the verse: the person of Jesus Christ.
Hidden in the scene is a depiction of the Triumphal Entry as described in the four Gospels: Jesus riding on a donkey (showing the humility and condescension of the Creator and King) and some of the crowd of people. (Matthew 21)
A key to the hidden images is included with each print.
“Who being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross!” Philippians 2:6-8
